This division works closely with the JDDB be providing information and carry out activities on  Agricultural lands relating to:

• Development and maintenance a soil and land use database.
• Management of soil and water salinity.
• Conducting rural land evaluation assessments.
• Make recommendations on the use of agricultural lands.
• Conducting soil analysis and makes fertilizer recommendations to farmers and special interest groups depending on the soil nutrient profile.
• Land use monitoring and management (subdivision and quarry assessments).
• Soil health analysis (physical, chemical and biological components of the soil).
