Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA)

According to Section 1 of the the RADA Act of 1990, the agency is involved in activities rearing the development and maintenance of pastures, the keeping or breeding of livestock. They provide assistance to facilitate the enhancement of soil productivity and/or rehabilitation. They also provide agricultural extensions services such as training and development, technical and advisory support, which play a critical role in boosting and promoting agricultural development and profitability. They facilitate registration of farmers upon meeting eligibility criteria that will allow farmers access to benefits.
